We were able to use our imagination and create something we wouldn’t get in a resale. We were able to dream whatever we wanted to and see out dreams turned into reality. You get things the way you want them. Bill has so much experience and so much imagination, he interviewed us, got our feelings, and designed around that. He was always willing to push the envelope and see what we can do. His program is really good to, to be able to walk in and see what’s there is very helpful. Designing with him was a very pleasant experience, we spent hours, it was a process. We changed the kitchen on him the night before the pour and it was no problem.

There were hours spent in learning what was important to us and how to use the space well.  We love the angles in our home and the attention given to placement. Designing with Bill was a positive learning experience.  He "placed" our home PERFECTLY so that we got maximum solar sun exposure.  Duke Energy even commented on its perfect placement.  House placed/built to maximize fantastic views and space on lot area for gardening possibilities. This is our 5th. experience at building a home and it is the most unique of the five. We are thoroughly satisfied with how our home was built and the final outcome.

We walked in and within an hour he had a house designed for us, we were just floored. The quality of the houses he was building was phenomenal. What was cool about it was that he wanted to design a house based on how you want to live. We lived in a neighborhood before but the neighborhood didn't interact like here, they didn't have Christmas parties. We liked that all of the houses are unique. Our little bay breakfast nook out there wasn't supposed to be there; Bill knew I always wanted a bay window and my husband gave up some of his workshop space. We love it and people really like it. If we wanted to change something he went with us he tried to adapt to what we wanted.

When my multigenerational family of four adults needed a custom home designed, we turned to Bill. Upon telling him that we had placed an offer on a corner lot within Reems Creek Village, he immediately started to design. Working on his computer utilizing state of the art computer technology while simultaneously asking questions of us, in less than two hours we saw a basic house floor plan that appeared to be heading in the right direction. We expressed to Bill that our top priorities were a view, with plenty of space and light and a floor plan that would provide appropriate privacy for each adult in the household. We continued the design process, remotely via computer after we returned to our home state. A month later we returned to NC to continue the design process in person with Bill. Six to seven hours a day for over a week were spent with Bill as we finalized the floor plan. During this rigorous design process Bill was available at all times. He cheerfully entertained and was more than willing to explore a multitude of ideas and possibilities. He welcomed our ideas, made us feel that we were an integral and critical part of the design process, and ensured transparency throughout the design process. The design process was exciting! Every exacting detail was discussed, including a computer visual on how the sun would set throughout the year with respect to the positioning of our house on the lot. Bill delivered on maximizing our views and we have a floor plan that allows four adults to live comfortably. We love our new home!
